Creative Lives

I love to get a peep into creative, or just plain stylish and interesting peoples lives - where they live, where they work, what they wear, about the cities they live in and hear about what makes them tick.
Luckily I am not alone and there are websites popping up all the time; one stop shops to feed my curiosity. I thought I would share my current favourites.

Industry Of One focuses on exploring "the style trappings of various industries + professions and document the relationship between one's line of work + walk of life"
Visually, it's a treat.

The Makers - a photo project by Jennifer Causey, documents an array of creative and industrious folk, typically from around Brooklyn, NY.
Full of inspiring photographs and short interviews with each of 'The Makers'.

ClosetVisit - pictures of clothing, chats about clothing and a wee bit of clothing envy.

An extensive list of interviews from creatives around the world can be found on Freunde Von Freunden. Some are not in English, but hey, a useful way to use google translate, when not using it to learn exotic phrases to impress your friends.

There are interesting interviews and photo shoots with makers to be found on blogs around the internet - a couple of goodies here and here.
Grain & Gram - The New Gentlemens journal has interesting conversations and q+a's with some creative male folk.
The Selby of course is a popular spot for checking out interesting people in their interesting surroundings and The Great Discontent is also another I have found recently.

Let me know if there are any that I should check out that I have missed.

Happy perusing.
xx

I like having a nosey too! I came across The Glow the other day. Features fashionable mothers and their little ones. Worth a look, might make you a tad clucky too. Ha!
